Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church is currently searching for a full time Pastor of Student Ministries to oversee and disciple Youth and Young Adults ranging between Jr. High School and College age. 

 

SMBC was officially formed on December 29, 1918 and recently celebrated its centennial in November of 2018! The church has a rich history of multi-generational ministry with a current active membership of approximately 200 and an average attendance of 100-150 per week.   Over the years we have maintained a strong youth program that served to share the gospel and partner with the youth of our community to develop their relationship with Christ.
