Ongoing Groups and Activities at SMBC

Check out ways to become involved at SMBC by joining groups or activities
that match your interests and fit on your calendar

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer. There are various groups including a men’s group that meets with Pastor Pat on Tuesday mornings and one that meets in the Prayer Room before the Sunday morning service.

Support Group

These groups provide a service to the community and to individuals with shared concerns or needs. Fresh Hope for Mental Health currently meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30. Contact person is Jennifer Neufeld

Sunday Classes

Following the morning service, classes are provided for all ages Jr.High through senior citizen. Watch the Bulletin for the current offerings.
Note: Concurrent activities are provided for children up to and including grade 6.

Bible Study/Life

These groups usually meet during the week, often in homes for fellowship and to study God’s Word. Weekly or biweekly is a typical schedule.

Special Interest

These meet as scheduled for fellowship and most provide a meaningful service as well. For example, a group meets for quilting, as scheduled. MCC opportunities arise at various times throughout the year.

Seasonal Classes

Our Church hosts groups/classes that meet here, on campus. Come join us as we learn and grow together.  Some groups/classes also provide childcare – Be sure to check out the class details as they become available
