| Welcome to Children's
Ministry at Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church, where children
are very important to us. We are here for you, to partner
with you in leading your child into a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ. We are committed to providing programs
that help children understand that God loves them. Through
lessons, activities, and hands on experiences, they learn
about our wonderful Lord and how he wants to have a persomal
relationship with them. |

| Our Mission: Children's
Ministry exists to partner with families to train children
in the seven core truths of a disciple of Christ. The core
truths are that we are to 1. Know Him 2. Love Him 3. Trust
and Obey Him 4. Serve Him 5. Praise and Worship Him 6. Become
like Him 7. Make Him known to everyone, everywhere. |

Infants and Preschoolers:
Infants to 2 years of age are cared for in our nursery room.
Here loving adult volunteers hold, rock, feed, and play
with these precious little ones. Care is available from
9:20 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
Children from ages 2-5 have a special class just for them.
Through music, Bible stories. and hands-on activities they
will learn about our loving God.

| Children's Choirs: We
love to sing at Shafter MB,and children are some of our best
singers. What a wonderful way to learn to praise Jesus. Every
Sunday morning the children begin with music. We have two
children's choirs that meet from 9:20 a.m. - 9:55 a.m. "Praise
Notes" is for children kindergarten - 3th grade. Our
4th - 6th grade choir is called "Celebrate." |
